  : Hotel was very nice, old fashioned looking, but perfectly clean, tidy. Staff were very welcoming and friendly. Room was nice and big and bathroom very clean. Food was also very nice. Would stay again if in the area.

  : Great food and lovely large room in a very old property. Good location in the centre with public parking opposite if the free places are taken.
  : There was no air con as mentioned probably due to the age of the property over 600 years old. Fans were provided but in 32 degree heat not altogether effective. Our neighbours in the room above also started walking around on all the creaky floorboards in the early hours so not a good sleep. I know this is not the fault of the hotel but I did book after searching for air con in a property, so maybe the description needs to be corrected please.
