  : I was overcharged for my room and not given the room I had booked or a room that was even in the house (the main reason I chose this place), so there is nothing good I would say about this place. The place is misrepresented on booking sites and the little hut (called Galahad) appears to be in the house along with all the other rooms. I haD booked a quadruple room in the house: I did not get this and was charged more than the price of the room I booked (and it was a single booking).
  : The OWNERS CHARGED ME MORE - OVERCHARGED ME - than the price given by website and as booking.com gives them access to your credit card without you having to sign for it, there was nothing I could do. I do not like being cheated but that is what happened. I was even charged more than for a quadruple room in the house!!! Secondly, the room I received was not in the house, as I had booked, but was a wooden hut in the grounds. This also was NOT what I booked. Thirdly, there were so many do nots (over 10!) ( eg, do not bang your case against the wall; do not roll your case on the floor, carry it (and up stairs also); do not tread heavily etc) that there was little welcoming about their supposed welcome. (I dont think the owners really want you there; all the do nots made it sound like gaol. Also, there was so much made of needing to keep things locked up, it made the place sound unsafe.) Fourthly, flies landed on all the food at breakfast each day. There was no attempt to get rid of them. Fifthly, the same bread, almond cake etc were rolled out for breakfast each day so by the third day, the bread was pretty stale. There is an excellent bakery in the village where fresh bread and even a croissant could be purchased. Six: The floors of the hut were of a rough brick material and were very rough and hard underfoot. Seven: The place is in the middle of nowhere and difficult to find. I had to ask someone in the village for directions. Not recognised on a GPS. TV: poor reception at night. No reception sometimes. Privacy: the little hut where I was was near the jacuzzi so people walked past and looked in. You did not feel private at all. My recommendation: go somewhere else.
