Premiere Classe Soissons

Very Poor
Traveller Type: Traveling as Couple
: Very affordable room with free parking. Friendly receptionist.
: For a hotel in the one-star category, you don't expect much. But if you only need the essentials for an overnight stay, you will be satisfied. But even in this category, the hotel is definitely not recommended. Worn-out building, not maintained. Facilities not as described (missing towels, incomplete bed linen, all not even at extra cost). Poor cleanliness of the bed sheets. Virtually no daylight, as there is only one tiny window. Inadequate artificial room lighting (no ceiling lighting, only weak wall lamps). Missing shower curtain, therefore no showering possible in tiny bathroom cell with toilet, otherwise everything would have been under water.

  : convenient
: it likes being in a jail block.

Very Poor
Traveller Type: Solo Traveler
  : Nothing whatsoever.
: Where do I start?Lots of noisy East Europeans who seem to be resident. Their drying laundry hanging over every balcony. Room smelly and dirty with bed bug infestation. No facilities whatsoever, apart from a vending machine. Very basic breakfast. Just a buffet restaurant (which was good) within walking distance, otherwise isolated on an out of town retail park.Cheap but, even so, very poor value.

Fair
Traveller Type: Family with Young Children
: It was the cheapest we could find.
: It's sort of at the back of a trading estate and there are no footpaths or pedestrian crossings to get to the retail park.
