  : Charming hamlet, close to Sare, with lovely old Basque houses, a pretty and convenient location. They had a good chef and dinners were well presented..
  : This is not a dog friendly hotel, despite stating they take dogs. When we arrived, I asked about dinner arrangements and was not told that dogs can't go in the restaurant. We took the dogs into the evening meal that night and were told to go. Luckily it was warm enough to eat outside, but otherwise we would have been banished to a soulless room on our own. This also applied at breakfast when the large restaurant was nearly empty. We were made to feel very uncomfortable. They also posted a notice to say the restaurant closed on Tuesday. We assumed that meant no dinner, but the whole place was shut down, in darkness, when we got back in early evening. Luckily we had the front door access code otherwise we would have been locked out! They need to explain more clearly to guests. I had the impression that they were new to the business. It is not acceptable to put two tiny cardboard cups in bedrooms and expect guests to use the same battered, dirty cups for three days stay. We had to ask for replacements. I could go on, with another dog related problem, but will say no more....
