  : No food facilities for the evening, went to sister hotel IBIS nearby, they didn't have enough staff to cope with their own guest numbers. After driving 7 hours during the day i had to get into my car and drive to find somewhere to feed my family.

  : The hotel is very close to the motorway which is great for travelling, you cannot hear any traffic noise from the hotel. There is plenty of parking on the hotel premises and it's great that all the rooms are on the ground floor which makes it easy when carrying bags/suitcases etc. The bed was very comfy and clean but there could have been some more pillows on the bed. The wifi connection was good too with no issues at all. The guy that was on reception when we arrived was very friendly and welcoming and I noticed him going around the grounds picking up rubbish so he was concerned about keeping the hotel looking clean/tidy. The grounds/grass around the hotel is great if you're travelling with a dog as you can take them for a walk on this if you need to.
  : Our room was very dirty from the bathroom to the bedroom itself. The skirting boards were covered in dust and grime and the bathroom was very dirty so much so that we had to clean it as best we could with some antibacterial wipes we had whilst travelling. The shower was rusty with mould as well and there was no hand-wash either. The toilet was very stained and the surfaces were very damaged around the sink as was the skirting boards in the bedroom too. Our room was very noisy, we could hear lots of noise from next door and they had a dog that insisted on barking pretty much all night so we were tired the next morning, not the best way to start a long drive. We travelled with our dog too but I don't think it's acceptable for dogs staying at the hotel to disturb other guests. Our room was also directly next to a communal toilet/bathroom which was used throughout the night, the door was very loud and banged each time someone went in to use it. In our room (I am not sure if it is all the rooms) there was a blocked door which could be unlocked if someone required adjoining rooms, the people next door kept pushing/trying the door which made us feel unsafe although the door did feel secure. Someone had been smoking in the room as there was a faint smell of smoke and lots of cigarette butts outside the window. The hotel is extremely overpriced for what it is and I would not stay there again. I would opt to stay elsewhere even if it means having to travel further to get back onto the motorway.
