  : My stay at this place was awful. AWFUL. And I'm writing this message with the hope that someone will AVOID going there after reading. To start, when I enter the room I saw it was extremely minuscule, with just enough space to move one by one around the bed. I said, ok, we are in France, what may I expect? I found many times this kind of places so... But then, I saw the carpet and furniture were dirty and dusty... I closed my eyes expecting the bedsheets at least to be clean... We tried the wi-fi and it was impossible to download a picture from Whatsapp, try to imagine checking your e-mail. While trying to work I was sitting in the bed, hanging my laptop in my legs because, of course, there was no possibility to use anything else: the unique 'half-table' (literally, the half of an old table), was actually fixed to the wall, distant from the bed and there was no chair, therefore, a table impossible to use!At bed time, I had a huge problem: the party started. There were people making noise during the whole night, I put earplugs but still, walls were as tends and it was impossible to sleep. I went down but, for my surprise, the reception was closed (I never saw a HOTEL with the reception closed before). I called them and - after being forward to an unknown number - they replied that it was not possible to come and fix the problem since they were 30 km away: 'you should deal with the problem by yourself'. If you think about it, this is actually great: you can rent a room in this place, open the front door to anyone and do a huge party. If no one complains, then it's alright. And if someone comes to ask for silence, you can still going ahead since no one can really kick you out.I chose this place in-the-middle-of-nothing as a strategic place to rest and sleep since I would be driving all day before and after the stay. You can imagine my day after was a nightmare driving since I didn't sleep all night long.

  : The food in the restaurant was very good.
  : The room was tired and very shabby. It didnt feel clean. Would definitely not recommend this hotel and would not return. No English was spoken by any if the receptionists

  : The reception staff had left the building early even though I had advised my arrival time and that I am disabled. The place was in darkness and I had to virtually crawl up to a second floor room. There was no food in the evening nor the morning even though payment had been taken for breakfast. There are no restaurants nearby. The bedcover was stained. The toilet seat was loose. The washbasin blocked as soon as I ran water into it. The tariff was not enormous but like another review said I wouldnt stay again if I was paid to do so. A truly awful and frightening experience.

  : The welcome from the staff at the desk was very good, the guy stayed late for us to check-in later than expected.
  : I thought this hotel was very expensive for what it offered. It was nearly 100 for 1 night, the beds were really uncomfortable with not enough bedding or pillows, only 1 plug point in each room including one where the wires were hanging out of the wall. The bedding didn't smell very fresh, the noise from the main road outside kept us awake, very basic and poor quality for the cost of the room.

  : The room was spacious..
  : The road was noisy. We were given the incorrect time for breakfast, 7am not 7:30am. The only member of staff did get breakfast ready for us - thank goodness, as we had a ferry to catch. Breakfast very basic - had to keep asking for more coffee.The teeth in the room has a dodgy cistern. It drips. Only thing to do at night to stop it, was to turn off the water to the cistern. Dinner - only the a la carte available - pricey but good.

  : We liked the fact we only stayed for one night. They did have off street parking
  : Room was very small considering it was for three people. No curtain on shower so the floor was wet. Doir to the room didnt feel secure and the lock pulled away from the door. Decor generally was dated and tired. No one there for breakfast. They had run out of coffee which another guest mentioned. I managed to ask the cleaner for some more and they brought two espressos. So not impressed at all. Front of the building and a plant pot full of cugarette butts and rubbish. Other pit had weeds so not good first impression. Checking in took a lot longer than necessary. Would not stay here again and would not recommend.

  : Tired hotel in need of refurb but clean and ok for quick stop over night.

  : Easy to find and put our bikes around the back. The chef was on holiday, so we rode to the nearby supermarket and stocked up for our evening meal. The staff were very accommodating with plates and knives, etc.
  : on-site restaurant. I think we did well with the location because downtown St Dizier is quite run-down, and not worth a second visit. Traffic noise is extraordinary until evening, but then earplugs work well.
