  : The drive was lovely through the vineyards and we found a lovely wine shop a few doors away from the hotel
  : The hotel was very tired although I understand it is closing in October for refurbishment. We hadn't realised we needed to catch a ferry across the estuary to travel onwards to Calais although the ferry turned out to be very easy and actually quite pleasant. The town was very quiet like a tired seaside town but also quite charming

  : Comfortable beds, good air con, nice shower and separate bathroom. A good stop over in a nice Riverside town, with good options for dinner as well.

  : The renovation was not completed. So no lobby, proper breakfast room, indoor pool not ready and building works still going on

  : The staff were lovely but the building work had not been completed so there were no spa facilities, restricted restaurant access and no lifts. But when the restaurant opened it was lovely food and the staff helped so much. It will be perfect when finished!!
