  : We had a 2nd floor room and no lift. Wish we had been travelling a little lighter!

  : Spent 3 nights and 4 days at this hotel. This hotel has all the basics you'll need for a stay away from home - if you're looking for a place to just sleep and store your things and are planning to spend most of your days exploring the city, then you'll be fine here (this is what I did). If you're looking for luxury, look elsewhere, but if you're looking for a comfortable place to rest, consider the Nouvel Hotel. The reception is manned 24/7 which came in handy when it came to asking for water etc. I felt very safe at the hotel itself.We had a medium-sized room and attached bathroom which was small but functional. I asked for a street-facing room and I got that which was nice as there was more natural light. There was one cupboard and a chair. There was a TV although I didn't find myself using this. I also had breakfast included; there is not much choice, but their coffee was nice and I found it useful to fill up a little before leaving to start my day in the city.I think the best thing about this hotel is it's proximity to the Nation metro station. We travelled via metro a lot whilst there, and this was highly convenient as a number of lines run from Nation into the city! Other than transport links, we did not spend much time exploring the local area (although I know there are some cafes nearby). There is a supermarket and pharmacy too, though we didn't visit either.
  : This is a very basic hotel - convenient and functional but not luxurious (as mentioned), The rooms and facilities are clearly dated; we had a very squeaky floor which I had to tiptoe around so as to not disturb our neighbours. There was not much lighting in the room; this was okay during the day due to the large windows letting in light but noticeable at night when wanting to read a book etc. The hotel itself is fairly quiet and peaceful, but there is a pub just up the road and it sometimes became very loud at night (especially when the football was on!). The breakfast was very basic with not much choice (although I didn't mind, you may or may not find it worth the price) - some croissants, cheese, cold cuts, cereal and a coffee machine.

  : Super friendly and helpful staff. No lift so they helped my son and I carry our luggage up three flights. Gorgeous view to the street. Little courtyard was cute only here for one night which was a shame. Close to metro
