  : Breakfast was very good, loved the pastries. Coffee machine appreciated too.So glad to have effective air conditioning and loved the history of the building and the fact that the St. Paul Metro stop was right outside was so convenient.
  : The shower was just a shower wand in the claw-foot tub and it was hard to use (was a bit leaky too). Also - hard to reach the soap on the wall, so we bought a bottle of shower gel and it was fine.

  : Staff was really friendly, fantastic location at the heart of the Marais, in front of the underground station, excellent breakfast, comfy beds.I really enjoyed my stay.
  : My only issues were the stairs going from the lift area to where my room was. They were a bit tricky and narrow. I had to be really careful when walking up with the bags. Also the noise at night was a little bit annoying.

  : The man at the front desk was just delightful and welcomed you when you came into the hotel once I could find it. It has a very discreet entrance squeezed in between two restaurants. But he was charming, helpful, and friendly, and he made you happy to have chosen the hotel. However, I was put in a room where you had to take the elevator, and then you had a lot of stairs to navigate, so he very nicely offered to help me with my bag. I told him it wasn't necessary, but once I saw how you got to my room, I was so happy he was there as the stairs were twisty and narrow. You had to go up and down and around and up again. The hotel should explain this room because I didn't choose it, but be honest about it since the hotel doesn't let you know that this room that they're putting you in is not typical to get to and be upfront about it. So if you want to do an obstacle course, that's fine. It's not really okay to use the excuse that that hotel is old because I've been to 15th-century hotels that are much better laid out. The room was romantic and quirky, so it had charm. It was well-appointed, immaculate, and well-maintained, and the bathroom had an atelier look of steel and glass windows instead of walls. It was so spacious, with a huge bathtub. So I was delighted. It's a great price, but I would've liked to have a different room, but again, the man at the desk was charming and helpful and gave me a great restaurant just around the corner.
  : I liked the hotel, but getting to the room was hard work since the elevator stopped well below. Navigating the circuitous route made getting to the room even harder. Then you have to go back downstairs to go to dinner, then back upstairs, and then in the morning, you are offered to be helped again to get your stuff down- and I only had a lightweight roll on and a laptop. The lighting was not easy to find, so showing where it was was good. But they had a USB outlet right by the bed and an excellent coffee and tea service in the room.
