  : The location is quite good in the old town. Need to walk a bit from the train station. The food in the restaurant/bar is quite good.
  : Room is small. Although we booked a 2 beds room, there is hardly any space separating the beds. As the hotel is above a bar/restaurant, I will not be surprise if it is noisy during peak seasons. I had a good night sleep during my stay though. Stairway is a bit narrow - there again it is an 'old' house with plenty of character.

  : Staff We arrived 45 minutes before the official check in and the restaurant Taverne St Odile staff, that appeared to be also the receptionists, asked us to leave for a stroll for that time.Restaurant Taverne St OdileMany salad leaves of my Salade Nicoise were brown and slimy- non eatable. The waitress did not care. My husband had the flammkuchen which turned out to be the better choiceBreakfast Guests have to boil their own eggs. The problem is that there is only one pot to boil them we waited the 6 minutes til the guest ahead of us had their eggs boiled The coffee pots that the guests have to take out of the shelf to get their own coffee had still cold coffee left overs- we used the hot tea water to rinse one of the pots Tipp: next door is a nice coffee shop with breakfast items and chairs/ tables!
