  : The staff were friendly
  : We had a lot of issues with the property. First, it’s not in the most desirable part of Marseilles, several men followed us back to the hotel and a homeless person came into the lobby and caused a scene. There are much better areas in Marseilles to stay in and enjoy as we learned a little too late. Second, the hotel was dirty. Our room hadn’t been vacuumed when we checked in and it was made obvious by remnants of food, papers, etc. from previous guests. Third, our shower was broken and wouldn’t drain. We alerted the front desk to the issue and they did not fix it. It made showering quite difficult unless we were keen to flood the bathroom floor. Fourth, our towels were taken but not refreshed, so we were left with no towels. Last, when we checked in a maintenance person was in the room unbeknownst to us and it was quite shocking to open the door to an occupied room. Finally, the entire hotel was extremely rundown and dirty. I got a glass of wine with gunk all over the outside of the glass. There were flies everywhere, and there was this gross odor over the whole place. Overall, I would not recommend this hotel. It put a damper on our trip to Marseilles.

  : Room was clean and staff was friendly.I felt the prices in the bar were a little overpriced for basic drinks like coffeeHowever there are plenty of places within walking distance to eat and drink. It's a short walk to the old port and le panier area and if you don't have lots of luggage to carry then you can also walk from the railway station
