Chalet Mounier - Les Deux Alpes

Located on the ski resort of Les Deux Alpes Hotel Chalet Mounier offers 3 on-site restaurants and a spa with a heated indoor pool and outdoor seasonal pool. Two ski lifts are accessible within 150 metres of the hotel. The rooms and suites are equipped with a flat -screen satellite TV. Each has a private bathroom with a bath or shower hairdryer and free toiletries.

Some rooms are duplexes and some rooms have a balcony or terrace. Every morning a continental breakfast is served in the dining area or in the privacy of the hotel rooms. : The staff were so welcoming and made getting to the room the easiest Ive ever had from a hotel which was perfect as we arrived later than anticipated with a very tired 1 year old.The hotel is beautifully decorated and the wine list is fantastic
: The second smaller room was quite small due to the sloping roof making it difficult for one of our party to get around but the room was still lovely

: The chalet is beautiful and the services exceptional. The boutique character of the hotel makes the experience very bespoke. The rooms are comfortable and cosy. The food is top notch quality. The facilities (restaurants, spa, pool) are nice and well equipped. Staff is super friendly and accommodating. A must stay place.

: Breakfast was excellent. Wide choice of food and drink. Helpful and attentive staff. Good quality fresh food. The restaurant was peaceful and well organised
: We thought that the quality of food was excellent. We did feel a little pressured by the sommeliers to order wine and every night the sommeliers upsold the wine and encouraged us to spend a little more than we wanted. The wine was fearsomely expensive. We wished that there had been a kettle and tea making facilities in the room. The room was lovely but small. we could only put one suitcase away. I had to use my suitcase as a wardrobe which didn't bother me too much. The view from our bedroom was sensational. The hammam was lovely. The shuttle bus to and from the ski lifts was a gamechanger. All of the staff were very helpful. We are experienced skiers and found that we had skied the entire resort by the end of day two. I did not need to look at the piste map on day three. I think if we had been in Les Deux Alpes for six days we might have been a little bored. Great skiing for intemediates and the beginners area looked excellent. Good access to the mountain. Access much quicker using the Diable chairlift rather than the Jandri Express.
