  : The location was excellent, the staff were very friendly and helpful. The hotel was charming and quirky. In general the food was excellent, exempt for one dish, with good presentation. The wine list was varied with lots of choice.
  : The hotel requires guests staying at the hotel to have dinner, bed and breakfast. However the dinner menu was the same on the two nights we stayed, with three choices for starter, main course and dessert. I would have expected more variety. The main staircase in the hotel, which was a spiral staircase, was difficult for anyone with mobility issues. There were lots of steps throughout the hotel which would make it very difficult for anyone in a wheelchair.

  : The establishment has an excellent restaurant for dinner and breakfast was good. The room overlooks the Seine, which is great provided that it is not dark. Located in the middle of the old village. The patron is most obliging
  : The room was not one of their best, though it was clean and comfortable and the standard varies - I have been there before and had nicer accommodation. Request a river view. Bathroom was a bit dated and lacked a walk-in shower, but otherwise, fine.

  : Real disaster and charged for 2 room that i did not used during the stay.Booking said they would helped me but nothing happened, the hotel complained about Booking.com and i was charged 700 for room that i didnt use. Was there to spend time with my old father and mother but my vacay was spoiled. Dont use booking or stay here.

  : The position next to the Siene was excellent, we paid extra for a river view and it did not disapoint. The town was nice especially the swimming pool and chateau.The evening meal was very good well presented, served with two very helpful and good waiters.
  : The time we were at the hotel was very hot, there was no air con (which is understandable because of the age of the hotel) but it would have been good to have a fan. The room also had no water or tea and coffee making facilities. The rooms could do with a upgrade.The meal in the evening was lovely served on the terrace but the breakfast the next day was awful. The worst breakfast at any hotel we have stayed in France or UK. When we arrived at 5pm the day before we noticed a lot of the breakfast items already out for the next day! Covered with a napkin but still left out. When we came for breakfast we were given a basket undercooked frozen small croissants and bread roll come baguette that looked like the cheap pre-baked ones. Just down the road is a boulangerie, just wanted a nice French baguette! We left the bread and went to the buffet. The cereals had some flies on, remember they were there from the day before, that was a real turn off. So i went for fresh fruit, only under the piece of fruit I took, there was mouldy fruit underneath, they just topped old with fresh. The coffee was self service service and already made in a flask, it was lukewarm and not great, yet the coffee in the evening was lovely, just serve that please, not the lukewarm offering!I wanted to complain about breakfast but guests that were leaving had their number plate photographed by the hotel owner as they left, I got the impression they had also complained.

  : The hotel was helpful when we added one to the party, and sourced suitable rooms at short notice. We always like staying here because of its position right beside the Seine.

  : It's worth asking for a room with a view of the Seine, which is so beautiful. Our room was the nicest I have ever stayed in, with delightful decor. We loved the meals in the gorgeous dining room. In October Les Andelys is very quiet, so we enjoyed the peacefulness and beauty of the village, with its ancient castle.
  : If you arrive by train, getting around is a problem; you really need to have a car. Also, I wonder if the Chaine d'Or restaurant might be losing custom because the menu boards outside contradict each other - one says that the Menu du March is available in the evening, while the other says that it is only available at lunchtime.
