  : Breakfast was lovely and we were able to eat outside. The house was very interesting as expected from the photos. The garden too was lovely to sit in. The host was very friendly and it was great to be able to walk to the nearby village square which was wonderful. We had a really delicious meal of pizza with wine and loved it!
  : We felt the photos showed a pool that would have been great to have a dip in, it seemed to us that the area near the pool which was tiny was a little overrun and in need of a bi of TLC. We had planned to spend time in the pool but didn't. It was lovely to see all the old artefacts but my partner felt the musty smell was difficult to get used to. I managed more easily!

  : Central location . Host was friendly & polite
  : Had requested dinner, had been told prior to arrival no need to book but after travelling for 9 hours we arrived to be told not serving dinner as festival of music was on in the square and we could eat at 3 different places. When we went the only place that could accommodate us was a crepe restaurant. So after travelling all day we had a crepe & a bowl of ice cream. No pool to talk about just a dirty unusable pool & area - nothing like the pictures on the site. The musty smell was still in my nostrils the next day & its like sleeping in an antique shop with clutter everywhere.

  : We enjoy the table d'hote style group seating and chatting with all the other guests. Homemade crepes at breakfast were a definite hit with everyone. Exploring all the antiques that are a large part of the decor is always fun!
  : We did not remember to book the dinner ahead of time so were disappointed not to share this experience with our family. Wish there had been a reminder! Other than that, everything was terrific.

  : Bertrand, your host, is a talented, creative man and his house reflects this. You are unlikely to encounter anything similar (and I mean that in a positive way!). Dinner and breakfast were both excellent and Labastide d' Armagnac itself is an interesting village, worthy of a detour.
