: Proximity to Calais very convenient. Beds are comfortable and clean. Ample parking.
: Room was not well lit. Smelled a little musty. Bathroom out of date and do with a shower rather than just a bath with a shower attachment and no curtain / screen. Towel rail fell off the wall. Having to use the phone system when arriving to dial a long number to call staff to reception was frustrating after a long drive. Dining experience was awkward due to finding a live maggot on the plate. Staff reaction disappointing with their solution to this being discounting the soft drinks from the bill. There seemed to be no concern which put us both off our meals and made us think this may happen regularly?

: Nice location, 15 minutes from the tunnel,.but nothing like the rubbish you get in Calais or the tunnel. Quite a find, with a lovely restaurant attached.
: Don't expect high a level hotel, this is an auberge. Just what is needed for a comfortable overnighter.
