  : It is attractive and convenient and La Distillerie is really good.
  : Initially given a very small room with a horrible bed that looked like a hospital bed. New room larger and much nicer but the bathroom was designed for disabled people so it wasnt very nice. The breakfast offering is quite poor.

  : Bedroom was a good size, very bright and airy.
  : Shower was difficult to use for my wife to small and shower head fixed and too high for my wife to use. Grout was mouldy around the bottom of the shower. Although large I found the bathroom slightly run-down for a deluxe room. Breakfast room was very pleasant except for the self service including automatic coffee machine. For any queries like ordering eggs you had to go to reception to place order. On my last day I ordered scrambled eggs, thought that they had forgotten me but finally arrived in a small bowl cold and grey looking not at all appetising. I would have thought that a hotel of this quality would have had staff on duty in the restaurant to serve you with pots of tea or coffee instead of having to get up from your table to serve yourself with every little thing. After finding this hotel in 2001 we have been back there a number of times for birthdays, anniversaries special occasions etc. This is the first time that I have had any negative views I feel that the hotel is letting itself down by cutting corners at the expense of the guests. I have stayed at much less prestigious hotels and had better service. I feel that the lack of staff to guests is detrimental to the enjoyment of the guests.
