  : Location/amenities were very good and staff also were very helpful.
  : Having paid an unnecessary 500 deposit I am annoyed that 5 days after checking out this deposit has not been paid back. Can this be done as soon as possible please?!

  : Great location in Chinon. Short walk into the mediaeval town , restaurants and the fortress. Pool area is clean and well looked after. Although apartment was small, we had a large balcony with a view across to the fortress.
  : Apartment (1 bed) is very small and has little storage space. Also very limited kitchen area and there is no proper oven. Inside the apartments could do with some updating. Furniture looks tired. Laundry costs 6 and there is only one machine for the whole complex, as far as we could see.

  : This was a very convenient location - just a short walk to Chinon centre for visiting the fort, restaurants, hiring bikes or canoes (at CLAN on the riverside opposite the fort). The one bedroom apartment was roomy enough with a kitchenette with 2 ring hob, kettle, coffee-maker, toaster, dishwasher. There was a nice big pool with plenty of sun-loungers (early June) but could get crowded in high season. Very good breakfast with ham, cheese, fruit compotes etc.
  : No aircon. The rooms facing west got very hot in the afternoon/evening, despite thick blackout curtains. The rooms facing east had early morning sun but pleasant shade in the afternoon but E block overlooked the carpark. It was an unattractive modern concrete building. We extended our stay and had to move to a 2 bedroom apartment - the main bedroom only had room for a bed and 2 bedside tables and the 2nd bedroom 2 bunk beds. The wardrobe was in the entrance with an extra wardrobe in the lounge area, so it was rather cramped. Beware - we were told that it was an easy 2 hour canoe ride from Sazilly to Chinon but the river was very slow and we had to paddle constantly for 2+ hours which was exhausting.

  : Comfortable accommodation, with pleasant pool, and good, quiet location, only a short walk from centre. Although the apartments are all a bit faceless concrete, the standard of accommodation was good, and it was quiet in early July.
  : There is a requirement to clean the whole apartment before leaving, including switching off and draining the refrigerator, whichs seems rather excessive as we only stayed there for 5 nights.
