  : If I paid a "normal" price, this hotel would have been okay. I had to pay extra for breakfast, even after an exorbitant booking cost, but the scrambled eggs were good.
  : I felt ripped off for the price. When getting to the hotel, we realised the location is not as "good" as previous reviews may have suggested. We arrived at 22:00 after out travels and there is absolutely nothing around the hotel to get food or a drink at this time. When originally booking, it seemed all hotels in Bordeaux/Bruges were similarly priced, but after paying 245/night on the original booking, I was disgusted to see I could be a walk in customer, in the not so busy hotel for 118/night! When questioning the rate with the hotel staff, I was told it was due to a busy period etc etc, but the same rate was almost true for the next 3 months on Booking.com's calendar! Anyway, despite the price, we were 4 people on the booking and only had 1 towel in our room, having to ask for more the next morning. The extra bedding left something to be desired and there were areas of the general spaces that were not well maintained, with some damp/mouldy places in the breakfast area. Other little things could make a difference. It is an apartment hotel, but maybe some basics like salt or pepper sachets, one or two coffee pods etc could be useful? Especially considering that there is not much in the area. There is a Express Supermarket across the road but is only from 8:30/9 - 20:00 or 19:00 over weekends. So if you arrive late you are stranded. All in all, if I paid 118/night maybe I would not have minded, but at 245/night, I expected more, even if it was just a free breakfast (which they refused to give!).

  : Room was very clean. Bed was very firm which once I got used to it was ok. Room was much larger and more facilities than we were expecting. Breakfast was very good lots of variety.
  : Checking in for breakfast a little hap hazard. Not always anyone around.
