  : The staff were friendly and very helpful. The underground parking was secure.
  : We're average sized people with only motorbike luggage but even for us the room was uncomfortably small. Even though we'd booked a 'Superior Queen' we were told there was no difference in size and looking at the descriptions on booking dot com, it would appear that the only difference is a coffee machine - which didn't work. Descriptions of both Queen and Superior Queen facilities included toilet roll - well, thank goodness for that!! The first room we were allocated smelt of bad drains and in the second one, the sink didn't drain so there is clearly a plumbing issue. The lift which serves all floors is ridiculously inadequate - very slow and holds no more than 4 people - guests were grumbling at the wait. For a four star hotel you'd expect the option of an evening meal - but nope! Most signs in the hotel were in French, Spanish and English - pleasantly inclusive - but the tv in the hotel only had French speaking channels - not so inclusive.

  : Lovely room and outlook over pool and gardens. Nice touches in hotel such as books and other literary themed items. Express breakfast good value for money. Reception staff very helpful.

  : The hotel was friendly and relaxed with great staff. Breakfast was good. Pool and poolside were lovely and not over crowded despite it being peak season. The room was a little cramped but clean and comfortable.
  : It was odd that the only bar seating area was the reception with little seating.
