  : Staff were incredibly rude - not sure if they just dont like the English, but it very much seemed that way! The location within the town was good, parking right out front (although we had to ask about 4 times for the parking badge before it was finally handed over to us so we could park!) We had two bookings for 2 families and the other family were left without parking as they had run out of badges - not quite sure how they managed this, as I would have thought youd have 1 badge per room? The staff treated us as an inconvenience, the rooms are a good size but the walls are paper thin, we could hear whole conversations of other families in the rooms next to us. There was a loud beeping noise coming from a cupboard opposite the room which could be heard in the room. The bathroom absolutely stank. furthermore, when we wanted to leave and check out the following morning, we found that the door in our corridor outside our room was locked - we were essentially locked upstairs. We eventually found an alternative way out but no one mentioned this at all. Had there have been a fire, we would have been in serious trouble, as we had no idea there was another exit. The other exit was also coded - so we could get out but couldnt get back in. check out from 7am isnt available - we were outside at 7am waiting to check out - we waited till 7.05 and no one was there to open up. There is no 24 hour reception, so if something goes wrong, theres no one to contact!

  : The hotel is in the centre of town and is a traditional style hotel. The host was friendly and efficient and let us in before the 5pm reception time. There was a locked garage for our bikes. The room was small but renovated, comfortable and clean. We ate at the restaurant attached to the hotel and the meaty food was fine but the vegetarian food was disappointing. Breakfast was plentiful and good. There was a coffee machine in the room.
  : Id prefer china cups in the room for tea and coffee making.
