  : - Hotel is an authentic mediaeval complex in a beautiful small town - Perfect location right off the town square - Incredible view from the rooms - Delicious and great value dinner featuring traditional dishes and famous dessert - Tasty croissants at breakfast
  : - Indifferent and even rude customer service.We are not demanding travellers. But any request felt like too much trouble. Travelling with a toddler, we booked a two room suite. On arrival, we were given rooms #8-9, on two different levels, linked by a set of outdoor stairs - NOT the room pictured on Booking, and dangerous for a child. Even though the interconnecting room we ordered (#5) was available for the same price (we checked in their open ledger) it took a long negotiation to convince and cajole the receptionist into reluctantly changing our room to one appropriate for a family with a small child. They then asked if we needed a cot; we said yes but it never arrived. When we enquired later we were told brusquely by the manager: "You don't need one, there are enough beds in the room". Uh, OK.Same story repeated itself over dinner. We reserved an outside table at the time of booking. When we came down to eat we were told that all the tables were full and that we should eat inside in a near empty hall, when an additional table was standing in plain sight and there was clearly room on the patio. When I said that the hotel had confirmed our reservation outside, I was told "well, the tables are all taken. we can't help it if other guests already took them". Only when we refused to eat inside was an outdoor table grudgingly prepared.Finally, arriving at breakfast, the manager - without so much as a hello or good morning - rudely ordered my wife to put on her mask; she had literally just crossed into the doorway and was obviously about to put it on. I asked for a boiled egg. Having paid EUR 9, it did not seem like a crazy request. "We don't offer eggs", I was told. On our way out we passed the kitchen and noticed crates of eggs stacked by the door. Huh?- Rooms are adequate but could do with updating (tired carpets, flaking paint)- Limited breakfast (no cereals, egg or hams) for EUR 9 per head- Cheap, basic toiletries

  : The breakfast was typically French but since, presumably, they would be trying to attract the English tea would be appreciated or at least an indication that it might be as would cereals.
  : Access to the car park (I don't know what it may cost to repair the under panels to the front) To be told there was no bar as they had no staff. There was no dinner as the dining room was full. The shower unit had a mind of its own sometimes scalding hot and sometimes freezing cold.

  : The staff are all very friendly. Our room was large and clean We had two delicious meals at their restaurant. There is a variety of choice for breakfast and all very satisfying. The village is charming with good walking to be had from the door of the hotel.

  : No restaurant for 2 days in a row. As well the other hotel and restaurant close at the same days. No way to get food in this Lo action from Sunday to Tuesday. This is a disaster
