  : Quite noisy and echoing in the communal areas. That may have been the the clientele on the night as it was the night of a World Cup game.

  : Our family stayed in 3 rooms at the Hotel Joly for the World Cup Rugby in nearby Lille. The hotel is family run and the staff couldn't do enough for us although few of them spoke English. Our room was huge with great facilities and a pretty comfortable bed. Breakfast was good - a Continental with meat & cheese and with the best hours I have ever experienced - 7.30 - 11am! I was mislead by some internet information which suggested there were very regular trains to Lille from Armentieres- there are only 2 per hour which finish quite early in the evening - so we had to use taxis to get home after the games. These were easy to organise though and not too expensive. All in all the Hotel Joly was a great place to stay for the rugby - much cheaper than staying in Lille itself and we were made very welcome.
