  : Breakfast lovely , fresh produce and fresh bread/pastries, friendly staff, view of the coast, well-landscaped environment. Quiet area, hiring a car a must.
  : The pool could have been bigger but as the weather wasn't too hot we didn't need to use it much. The opening times of local restaurants was a bit hit and miss, probably due to the time of year.

  : Casa de Hilario had a peaceful, comfortable, and familiar feel about it. The characterful, quirky artistic decor was refreshing and other worldly and added to the feeling of being away from it all. As others have said, it's a great base for exploring the island but you do need a car for getting to many of the places that we went to. Breakfast consisted of 10 types of fruit, yoghurt, bread, pastries, meats, cheeses, tortilla, cereal, hard bolied eggs, coffee & several types of herb tea. It was great to be able to eat this on the outside terrace if it wasn't too windy. The breakfast and cleaning was managed by a wonderful helpful smiley lady, who I greatly appreciated. The heated plunge pool was an added bonus, with great views from its terrace. We would return here in a heartbeat. We were in room 2 which is at the front of the property on the ground floor.
  : If I was being the princess from The Princess & the Pea, I would have loved a different pillow as it was too deep for me, and I woke up with neck ache when I tried to use it. I just used one of the bed cushions instead though, which was fine but a bit small We were given an emergency phone number at check-in in case we needed it, as the casa only has the lovely lady there, mentioned above (who doesn't speak English), from 9 - 3. We didn't mind this at all, but writing this here as some people might. The same people also run Casona de Yaiza, which is a 10 minute walk from here. We stayed there too, if you want to read our review of it.
