  : Right in the centre of the action including the Saturday afternoon/evening carnival. Grand entrance doors lead to a grand stairway..no lift or reception. The rear facing room (and maybe all others?) was on the 1st floor above various beech front restaurants. Recently refitted and very spacious (the beech front rooms I saw were smaller). Very nice double bed and quality linen (zero marks for the single long pillow). En-suite bathroom not new but ok. Very helpful reception staffed 24hr where you collect key and leave bags before and after your stay BUT is 100m walk in adjacent street. If I stayed here again I would carefully select my room to ensure a very pleasant stay in lovely Torre Del Mar.
  : 1. NOISE. There was an intermittent loud 'industrial compressor like' hum emanating from the hallway below the room (I read other complaints of this) Zero soundproofing from the 1st floor balcony doors overlooking the access road. Saturday night was eventful. The loud music from the bar below was muted at 10pm but the shouting, mopeds and so forth continued into the small hours before the bin lorries arrived. My room was above the magnificent huge steel doors to the property which guests liked slamming. TIP- Consider rooms at east end of building. Beech facing even better. 2. SMELL of drains in bathroom....my room only? I read 1 other similar review from 'the room above the entrance'.

  : Staff very friendly, cleaning lady was cleaning room every day, towels and toiletries fresh giving every day, beautiful location 1 min from the beach, sheets clean and fresh.
  : On 1st day it was very big cockroach on the bed, shower base near the shower door was with algie, really need updating I don't think cleaning will sort that, I found bed uncomfortable struggled to sleep, air conditioning was bit noisy aswell. Would love to have some English tv channels or at least English subtitles.

  : the location is right near the shops and bars and beach. The bathroom was adequate, we had trouble with the toilet consistly running, but the maintenace man came and sorted it. lovely shower, but not consistance hot water.
  : The water was only hot in the morning for a little while, and again after 8pm at night, which wasn't good when you need to shower as it was hot. Also the neighbours toilets you could hear, it was like a old victorian toilet cistern, which woke us up every time someone flushed. The walls are very thin , you could hear next door and upstairs at it at all times.
