  : Very bad experience. We could not spend a night in Hotel Mar Azul y Surf however we took the room for 2 hours. Our 6 month old son was sick so we decided to go home, emergently. We asked them 2 days ago if it will be possible to cancel regarding our sons health, they said no We tried, we came, we took the room for 2 hours, but our sons health get worst and so we decided to go back home. Considering the situation, the health of our son, we hoped for an ounce of understanding and compassion. Please know that you will not find it here. The reception is icy, the staff false. The hotel did not take the measure of our situation and did not want to reimburse us in any case, we negotiated, the negotiation ended by "paying half of the stay". The staff were short and rude and really not at all helpful. The exchanges, although we were very calm and diplomatic, ended up being stormy. I would have liked a little more compassion and sympathy from the staff. We regret very much our visit if it is only 2 hours, the time to take the room, which I specify is really downgraded compared to the photos ... clearly the room are cheap, the walls are thin as paper. The rooms were small, smelt of damp and were dirty, the fridge is a nightmare. The swimming pool is very small, just a pool 3 m long! The pictures in the website have nothing to do with the hotel. When we arrived at the hotel we were very disappointed, it seemed much nicer in the pictures than what it actually was. No matter how look the room is or how big the pool is it's the service that is deplorable, our baby had to take his milk, we asked to heat it up, the waitress answer: "the microwave doesn't work", no solution proposed. We regret our visit as short as it was, but we certainly don't regret having left...

  : Breakast was OK. Cakes and biscuits, fresh fruit, eggs and bacon, Spanish specialties. Kind and efficient staff. Places for free parking for the night close to the hotel. A little, nice pool. Close to the Ocean and beaches. "Bidet" in the bathroom.

  : It was very close to the beach and the staff were very good. There was free parking which was great due to the fact that there was virtually no parking on the street due to the crowds.
  : Not much really. The first course for our dinner in the hotel on the last night was nice apart from the starters which were just too big. A small issue only.

  : The fact that we couldn't get anything to eat or drink between 4 and 9 o'clock and that the reception had the gall to refer us to the establishments in town while they knew the situation would be the same. This incommodity is not reflected on the website lauding the excellence of the hotel. Breakfast was inferior to advertised. Fruit was old. Lots of bread...

  : Cheap and cheerful - only 58 for room plus breakfast for 2 people. Good location by beach
  : Room looked nothing like the photos - very basic / tired and in need of a refresh. Room also extremely hot with no air con - had to sleep with the windows open and that didnt even keep it cool.
