  : The room photos are MISLEADING! Be careful about the photos that are advertised, even when you click on a specific room type. They have a generic photo with a great view that they use to advertise almost all the room types, which is not at all accurate. I had to decide between an economy room and a superior double room. The main difference between the 2 types of rooms was the view advertised. We chose the superior room which had only a photo of the sea view, so we paid an extra 300 EUR for that - which is a whole lot of money for us - but we decided to pay extra solely for that view, especially since it was my birthday at the time of the trip. I even asked after booking if we would be getting the exact sea view from the photo, and very vaguely they implied yes. And when we got there we got the view from the economy room photo, towards the pines, and with the sea around the corner... I tried to resonate kindly with Reception, which in no way was willing to handle my situation with an upgrade or downgrade, or basically anything I was suggesting, they were not in the mood to check anything or even answer any questions, they were extremely dismissive. Booking Customer Service handled the situation in a very professional matter, they got in touch with the hotel management - which, sadly, was just as helpful as the receptionist... I was extremely disappointed by this situation and the way it was handled by the hotel - I have a degree in Hospitality Business Management and I know this is UNACCEPTABLE behavior towards clients, especially in a 4 star hotel. Too bad, because the hotel was nice, the facilities were decent, and we loved the restaurant staff and breakfast - but we probably won't be coming back because of Management's lack of interest and respect towards the customers, especially for a problem THEY CAUSED and didn't take responsibility for.

  : Even though a bit dated it is a beautiful hotel in a beautiful, quiet location; Beautiful garden, pool and beach area; Spotless clean, spacious rooms with wonderful ocean view; Friendly, professional, well trained and happy staff at reception, kitchen, dining room and SPA; Very nice free SPA area and on top treatments; Tasty and good quality food - this was one of the main reasons I've chosen this hotel and I was not disappointed. One suggestion though: it would have been great if all dishes were exactly labelled in regard to their ingredients. I understand this is difficult especially when pre-packed food is used but in our case we needed to know the exact ingredients lists so we had to ask the staff for almost each dish which they were always happy to investigate and answer (thank you again!), but obviously it takes extra time and effort for both sides; Despite this being a rather exclusive place at no time the atmosphere was stiff, on the contrary it still had a casual, relaxed, honest feel - congrats!
  : Coffee was not tasty (not the way it was made but the coffee itself); Balcony was a bit "naked" - something green or more colour would have been nice; 1-2 additional hooks in the bathroom would have been nice; Tourists "reserving" sunbeds at the pool before breakfast to show up much later are always very annoying and I would expect staff to react; Some problems with the elevators (not working or very slow) - no big deal for us, but with only two elevators for the entire hotel with one not running at times this might be a problem for elderly people or families with kids.
