  : The property was underwhelming. I expect much more when paying 500+ dollars a night. The SoHo Boutique Catedral is MUCH better. The location is excellent and the quality is top notch for the same price. Do not book here. Firstly, the hotel was not accommodating (or even perspective) to our needs. We were here on our honeymoon and they put us in a twin room with separate beds. This was after I messaged them in advance to let them know.Secondly, the rooms were shabby. Wall paper coming off the wall, the design and decor was some random mix of modern and new, and overall not very appealing. They gave us 2 towels, one was plush and nice, and the other was not plush and felt like it has been used 100 times before with stains on it!Thirdly, they had given us small chocolates as a welcome gift - nice touch, except in my box the chocolate was missing! Poor attention to detail.

  : I stayed here once before in 2021 when I travelled to Sevilla with my adult son, and the location is good, hence why I booked us here again. The front desk is manned 24/7 which is quite handy, the rooms are generally quite serviceable, and the last time we stayed, we had two adjacent rooms on the top floor which were nice and quiet.
  : This time however, my room overlooked the road directly in front of the hotel. Not in itself a major issue, and of course one must expect some noise from outside including late night revellers, sometimes into the small hours. However, each time a car drove past there were two noticeable bangs, which I later deduced was because there was a loose manhole cover in the road directly outside my window. Clearly not a direct hotel issue but I am quite surprised no-one had brought this to their attention before as in the middle of the night the noise was very prominent and kept me awake. Secondly, it turned out that my room was on two levels. My bedroom at the top, and the bathroom down a precarious flight of wooden stairs that had to be negotiated each time I needed to use the toilet during the night. So combine these two issues, and unfortunately I only managed to get a decent nights sleep on one of the three nights we stayed. My son had a similar room configuration, but being a lot younger, it didn't prove to be such a problem; sadly my knees aren't what they used to be at my age. Lastly, and only a small thing. When we stayed last time, all the staff were very attentive and seemed genuinely interested in how we were getting on. This time though, nobody even asked at all during our stay, even on check-out, despite the fact that I had completed and submitted an in-house survey outlining these issues the day before.

  : Spacious room with big shower and decent bed. The staff was very kind and the breakfast was also good. Also very nicely located in the southern part with a 2min walk to the cathedral. Note that I was upgraded to the "Soho Boutique Cathedral" hotel and not the Sevilla one.
  : The comfort of the bed could be slightly improved but overall everything was great.
