  : I have never felt so unwelcome day an hostel. The manager is a control freak, constantly giving the feeling that we are unwanted and need to leave. All morning before check out he kept asking when are we leaving , and you better not be around after 11, or you want a fine . Keep giving orders and rules about being clean, asking to take a shower.Also they kick you out of the hostel everyday between 11-15:00 for cleaning. Its crazy to pay for a place and not being allowed to hang there for a few hours. You will also have to pay in order to leave your luggage after checkout. To sun up, its good to take care of cleaning but I dont think anyone should pay not too little money and get that treatment.

  : The common area was excellent, lots of comfortable space to hangout and well supplied kitchen. Beds were comfortable and lockers provided.
  : Bathroom space was adequate and clean but shower was cold. I guess you have to keep pushing the button to get it hot.

  : They pretend to be open-minded and hippie-like, but they are exactly the opposite: disrespectful, racist and impolite with the traveller. I had a reservation of 1 single room in the Santander Central Hostel for 1 night. Due to weather conditions, my flight was delayed, not being able to arrive at the hostel before 23h. I was LEFT ON THE STREET at 23:00 without any answer from the accommodation, despite the fact that I was continuously trying to contact by phone and by the Booking app during the opening time.The morning after, I walked to the hostel to talk to the staff and ask for my money back, since I didnt get to use the room I had booked with them. When I tried to approach the owner in a good manner, first I was completely IGNORED, and seconds after, mistreated, talked with a tone of absolute disrespect, that in any case you expect from an accommodation that is open to the public, and constantly receiving travellers and foreigners coming from abroad. Not happy with that, the owner started INSULTING me through the booking.com chat. The RACISM, BAD EDUCATION and MISBEHAVIOUR of the owner in front of the customer is outrageous and unexpected from a establishment of this kind: he accused me of being aggressive with absolute no reason, he rebuked me saying that I was Italian, using stereotypes and prejudices to judge and insult me, in a RACIST SHAMEFUL show that I hope no one else needs to suffer, despite I have reasons to suspect it is not the first time that this person behaves like this. Attached below are the messages in Spanish that he sent to me. AVOID to stay in this place, because they do not have the minimum ethics, nor services, to receive any person (national or foreigner) in their facilities.Now he's trying to charge me 250 for entering 5 minutes in the hostel without forcing any door but just asking a customer outside the door if I could have managed to talk to anybody.

  : Great value stay, ideal for transport by bus as the bus station is so so close and close to local cafes and bars. ngel and Carlota are very friendly and helpful for recommendations. Would stay here again
