  : Thoroughly enjoyed Ronda. Our holiday was spoiled by accidentally double booking the exact same holiday within minutes online. Booked in January 2024. We have been trying to get a refund for the inadvertently cancelled booking - (600 +) via the property and Booking.Com Since January 2024 and still have had no resolution. If it wasn't for the fact that we would have been charged again 600+to cancel then we would have gone with a totally different accommodation provider and would ,in hindsight, avoided using Booking.Com.
  : The Booking.com booking page is full of statements of " want to change your booking", "cancel and change dates" "all you have to do is contact Booking.Com." There is very little mention of being charged the full booking amount if it is changed or cancelled.(Despite booking the completely same holiday within minutes of cancelling the first ,realising that I had not - as I thought- made a mistake in the original booking.I have spent many hours contacting Booking.Com ,speaking to a different person each time and having to repeat my situation every time. I am advised each time to contact the property in Spain and continually receive a generic reply in Spanish saying that the policy is "no refunds." I have waited 2 months to allow resolution before I reviewed the property . Hoping to feel able to give a positive review, however, I am extremely disappointed that BOOKING.COM and LE GAV ERMITA have fallen very short of providing a helpful service.
