Pensión Bellavista

Pleasant

: - Location / price- Terrace - free drinking water- easy checkin in the night- very good vegan breakfast available in the restaurant next door
: - room smells bad for 3 reasons: waste water/drain pipe, mold and cheap paint of the wood furniture.- no air-conditioning -> mold- we got woken up every morning by very noisy works in the building next door- we had the room next the small kitchen which was also very noisy every morning and annoying. - the safe in the room didn't work and even after the staff "solved" the issue it still was locked and not usable - one morning the hallway was full of cat puke- double bed was sliding apart which was very annoying as a couple who doesn't want to sleep apart of each other

: Welcomed by a lot of cats. Location-wise very good! Ideal for backpackers more fixating on a good price than luxureous comfort. Everything is close. You can keep some food in fridge and there is relaxing terras with a lot of seats.
  : Beds were quite small.

: Loved my sunny balcony and spacious room for one. Great to have a fridge in the room. There were 2 lovely outdoor areas to relax in (unfortunately it rained for two days, so it would have been great to have an indoor room for relaxing in as well). The staff were absolutely lovely, and a bonus - one evening one of the staff played beautiful piano music on the piano in the hallway which was lovely. Bohemian vibe which suited me well, and it was quiet and peaceful. Location was great! (1 min walk to the waterfront).
: I got really cold at night in my room. The weather was very chilly for April, but there was no way to warm up in the evenings, especially on days which had not been sunny. However, there was a spare blanket in the cupboard which I made use of... it was needed! Also, shared kitchen could have been better/bigger; it would have been nice to have a hob to cook on.

: Great location close to the bus stop as well as to the beach and many restaurants. The room was simple, but offered everything we needed for a short stay. The pension also has a great, local vibe. Would recommend it. :)
