  : Lovely eclectic decoration and architecture in a stunning rural setting. Excellent breakfast.
  : If you are arriving on foot or bicycle ( the hotel is on the camino) then check in advance if the restaurant is open for dinner. There are limited other local options for dinner.

  : The breakfast was good, we particularly enjoyed the homemade lemonade. It's very bread-based though with not a lot of options, but good for the price. Good coffee too. The bed was very comfy. The location was beautiful, if you go here you must visit molino de bolao - a nice short walk away and so pretty. We also liked the donkeys in the field across the river :)
  : Unfortunately when we arrived there was no one at reception. We waited for about half an hour then summed up the courage to ring the number left by the receptionist, which immediately went to voicemail. We decided to walk to the waterfalls instead of wasting time waiting. An hour or two later we returned; still no one there, however this time the owner did answer his phone. He turned up 10 minutes later. It's worth mentioning that no English is spoken in this hotel (fair enough, it is Spain after all!) So if your Spanish is like ours, i.e. basically nonexistent, you might want to consider going somewhere else. The room was bad. It was the only downstairs room, right next to reception, and we could hear every word spoken there and in the restaurant. The first night, the owner had a loud gathering that went on until quite late. We could also hear whenever anyone else in the building flushed their toilet!
