  : First the best: Very nice personell all from the receptionists to the restaurant and bar people to the cleaners, always smiles everywhere. The apartment was very good, roomy, and quiet at nights (at least in the smaller pool area) and had enough space. The pool bar worked fine with quick service although queues at times. Staying 3 weeks you noticed that the food sometimes was pretty unstasty, but always enough to eat. I would prefer more fruit at breakfast, less raw red onion in almost all salads (which otherwise would have been good) , and tastier beef and fish dishes. The best was the fried tuna fish on some evenings. Nice with a lunch bag if needed. Easy free parking.

  : Food was good. Acomodation was nice and clean. Receptionists serving during the day were friendly and helpful.Overall good value for money.
  : Cleaning lady started to explain me one time that we should not put much paper to toilet otherwise it will block. While practical tip, hotel should maybe invest in more efficient system. Or put clear sign near toilet about it.One receptionist (in the evening) spoke only Spanish so we needed to use Google translator. At least basic english should be mandatory at reception.But he was trying to be helpful and solved our problem after all.

  : The buildings looked nice and were conveniently located around the large pool. The rooms were spacious. We really enjoyed the swimming pool. The beach was great, too, but we had to either pay for a taxi or take a free bus from the hotel to get there. The staff was nice and kind. There was some entertainment (songs and shows) on evenings.
  : Cockroaches! I was shocked to find a large cockroach running around the floor of the bathroom on day one; and when I returned to the bedroom, there was a smaller bug in the bed (fortunately, it was the only time). Every night, there was at least one cockroach in the bathroom, except for a couple of times when there was a decent spider running on the floor instead, scaring the cockroaches away, I guess. Once, I was taking a shower, only to realize that a large cockroach was sharing it with me. Hideous! Location: long distance to anything (except for the Holidayworld center), we had to book a taxi to go anywhere or return from anywhere. We tried walking back to the hotel from Yumbo once, but it turned out to be a very long and unpleasant walk. There was some noise from the air conditioning system in the bedroom (or maybe it was coming from cockroaches in the walls? I guess it's for the best that I'll never know). The drinks from the bar were so-so. The food was quite boring, though there was enough of it.
