  : Proximity to the golf club where the northern soul weekend was
  : Whole resort looking very tired now especially our apartment! No kettle, no toaster in fact not much of anything! Had new toaster brought, didnt work! Toilets wouldnt stop flushing and therefore difficult to use again within an hour! Door stopper in ridiculous place in bathroom caused 5 accidents in dark in night, with 2 falls and very sore toes! Bedding felt damp and why was air con set at 17 constantly as too cold but even though we turned it up it didnt seem to make any difference. VERY loud people above us, playing loud music til after 4am on the Friday night, throwing spent cigarettes and ash over their balcony down to ours and also throwing lemon too ! This is my 5th visit to Senator mar menor but not sure if I would come again as apartments badly in need of updating and now not worth the money

  : The only likeable thing about the property were the slides.
  : The rooms, sheets and mattresses stank of damp. Mould covered the walls and ceilings. The floors were dirty when we entered and the terraces filthy and couldnt possibly have been cleaned in weeks. There were dead moths on the kitchen surfaces. The chairs in the living room were stained and dirty. The bath had a black mouldy rim. We were charged 25 for taking our dog with us to clean the room after on top of the extra 7 a day but Im positive its just an extra way to earn money as higiene is not a priority. Some of the towels had yellow stains (luckily Id taken my own). The sun loungers beside the pool were broken and would collapse as you sat on them. The coffee table in the lounge was filthy and sticky. Never have I ever stayed somewhere so dirty and disappointing. The pool and slides were the only things up to standard.
