  : Nice location, up a quiet lane among woods and meadows. A 20 minute walk or shortish bike ride from nearest bar/restaurant and bakery, both very good. Hondaribbia, a bit further away is a characterful place, plenty of great eating options. The property is interesting, lots of the owner's artwork on display, and the owner herself was very friendly and helpful.
  : To be clear, contrary to some other reviews, there's no breakfast available, so you need to bring your own, or go out. There's limited tea and coffee (it's instant) and you have to ask for milk.The beds are very soft, that's a personal thing I suppose but I prefer a firm mattress. The rooms are not ensuite, you share with others; for the price I would expect your own bathroom. The WiFi does not work, it was impossible to get online. The owner explained that they are due to get fibre broadband next year, but again for the price I think you would expect that as standard.
