  : Having stayed here for 2 weeks in March 2023 we are happy to recommend this property with the notable reservations we have listed in the 'what didn't you like ?' We enjoyed sitting out in the afternoon sun on the front balcony and, when the wind dropped sufficiently, the back balcony and back terrace were nice to sit out on earlier in the day. The oven, fridge freezer and washing machine looked new and worked well.
  : The 2 portable heaters inside the property do not provide nearly enough heat to warm the living areas during chilly March evenings. No oven gloves, serving bowls, serving spoons, place mats or coasters etc were provided. The walls that adjoin the neighbouring property are poorly soundproofed so that, at times, it can sound as if the neighbours are actually inside La Casita Azul - even when they are simply talking normally or just moving around next door. When the wind is strong enough some of the metal fixtures on the roof rattle loud enough to keep you awake at night. Fernando (assisted by Gianluca) oversee the property. While very helpful and friendly in face to face meetings or during telephone conversations, communications with Fernando before, during and after our stay proved problematic and frustrating. We experienced major issues when trying to communicate online - either via Booking.com's messaging service or Fernando's WhatsApp mobile - with numerous messages from us not being 'seen' by Fernando or replied to.

  : The location of Casa Azul was perfectly in the middle between Punta de Mujeres and Arrieta in both of which we had family staying. We had to add on three more people at the last minute and there was no problem with that as the place sleeps 6 with comfort. All facilities were good, in fact some unexpectedly great, and large, cooking pans as we were 12 people all together. Everything was sparkling clean and seemed to remain so for the 10 days we were there. The views were fabulous and rock-pools for swimming in were a short step away. On the corner of the Caleta de Campo was a very good restaurant where we ate a few times and the recycling etc was behind the restaurant. The beds were very comfortable with firm mattresses all round and bedroom windows opened on to an outdoor terrace with table and chairs for breakfasting at.
  : The smaller shower room was fairly chaotic in that the shower curtain came down and the fixing fell off so showering was done with one hand. The reading lights in the sitting area were not working. There was only one key which would be a problem if one was lost. However, the manager was very accommodating, not about keys but in some clean linen.
