Traveller Type: Family with Young Children
  : Very nice little hostal that is spacious, in a good location, and great price. There were 3 of us so we were able to rent a private room. There is a shared kitchen and two bathrooms. Be careful when stepping out of the bathrooms! There is one step that goes down! Showers get very hot water so be sure to start with the knob in the center. The hosts are very nice and live just above. They welcomed us to call anytime we needed help. The place is just 15 minutes walk to the Alhambra, but I recommend to take the local bus 32 to get there if you have young children or joint problems since the old cobble stone roads are narrow, uphill and slippery. The hostal is located minutes from small grocery stores, including an organic grocery store that sells fresh fruits. There is also a small vegan shop that sells parfaits, brownies, and meat-less hamburgers; the parfait is delicious with fresh fruit toppings. For meat eaters theres tapa bars and restaurants within a couple minutes walk as well. We needed a place to keep our luggage for a few ours before catching our bus back home. The owners were nice to hold it for us so we could continue to explore. I highly recommend this humble place as a nice mom-and-pop lodging good for small budgets. If you go into the city center I recommend eating at Nemut Kebab Pizza. The Turkish Pizza fresh and delicious and feeds 2 adults for just 5.50 euros!

  : Lovely quaint place, feels like staying in grandmother's house. Very friendly owner, easy to reach by phone. Wonderful shower. My one-person bed was strangely high, as another bed was underneath, but it was comfortable and I slept very well. Other guests can be heard opening doors and flushing toilets, but there was a pleasant atmosphere and nobody made noise.
  : I'd prefer a normal one-person bed and not such a high one. The sheets were synthetic, some sort of thin fleece. I'd prefer cotton sheets.
