  : The beach was so close to hotel, you literally wall down a few steps from the pool - this was the only highlight. Rooms were very small but nicely decorated. Chef made a good omelette in the mornings. Staff were very nice and really helpful. All of the below was pretty much out their hands and presumably the decisions of the hierarchy.
  : Our room was directly above the entertainment so it was loud till midnight every night, even though it finished at 11, it was still loud at ill midnight. We couldn't turn off outside light - it must be automated on a time-clock. Room was tiny with hardly any storage which meant most the clothes stayed in the suitcases. There were never enough glasses for cold drinks at breakfast, kept having to ask for some every morning. The breakfast coffees were not very good either - worst ive had this holiday. 18 per night for parking was a really steep price to pay. We were going to stop in the bar for a few drinks but it was so bright it felt almost like a departure lounge, so we didn't bother.

  : amazing location right next to the beach, helpful staff, nice decor and very clean
  : my premium room was so noisy. it overlooked the entertainment stage and I got noise all night every night from music and the hotel shows ( not my thing - talent shows, karaoke etc) the only night bar was also by that stage. i asked to be moved but there was no space - the noise was not on the listing, and I think they should be honest about that. food was average - buffet, not very fresh lukewarm and same selection. I was half board and they only provided plain water with the meal. so I went out for meals.

  : The hotel is in a great location and has access to Cala Ferrera beach, which is absolutely gorgeous and the view from our room (769) overlooked this. The buffet breakfast was nice and there was a lot of variety.
  : The hotel itself from the front looks more like a prison than a 4* hotel. We arrived around 2pm and told our room wasnt ready to had to wait another hour, frustrating when we had been travelling since 2:30am. Upon check in I asked about parking as we had hired a car and I was told we would be charged 18 per day for using the hotel car park. Then we were told we had to pay 10 deposit for the key for the parking space and then another 10 to hire beach towels. The hotel itself all seems a little dated. The reception area and buffet restaurant are decorated how you would expect a Barcelo hotel to but then the corridors and other areas are very dated which gives the impression that guests arent appreciated. 2/3 of the lifts didnt work whilst we stayed here and we were on the 7th floor. The whole layout of the hotel is very strange and it was hard to get your bearings. The pool at the rear was packed every day and you were unable to get a sunbed and by lunchtime the sun was blocked by the hotel so Im guessing people then made their way to the front pool which backs on to the main road which again was very busy. Our room felt extremely small, the shower and tap had no pressure behind it and it was like a garden sprinkler than a shower. The room also smelt badly of drains. Tea and coffee in the room but no milk to be able to make yourself one. Only 2 small bottles of water provided during our 4 day stay. I feel as though we paid way too much for this hotel and hidden costs such as the parking making it even more expensive. We didnt stay in the hotel during the day and used the beaches instead. The consensus from others staying there was they felt the same and wouldnt use the hotel again, as do we. Dont waste your money as there are a lot nicer hotels in the area.

  : Staff were brilliant, everyone was really polite and hard working. 100% to the staff. They couldn't do enough for us and even served us drinks poolside. The hotel was very clean. The beds very comfortable and we slept very well. The towels were soft and fluffy. The pools were too cold for me to use but that's a personal thing, I hate cold water, even during the heat. There were always sun beds available. The entertainment team did the best they could during evening entertainment, although the area was so busy, you had to be there an hour before to get a seat. The sports bar leading into it was lovely, but you couldn't hear the entertainment from there. Staff were very generous with measures and worked hard to serve everyone quickly. The hotel hired two singers one afternoon and they were amazing, we enjoyed them the most. Our room wasn't huge but it had an amazing view of the beach. That's what we loved about the hotel the most. Highly recommended for the view. We loved the location too, lots of pubs, shops and restaurants outside. We would definitely stay here again, we just wouldn't go for the all inclusive version as we weren't keen on the food. The location is so great that you have plenty of fab restaurants outside your door.
  : The food. It was the same every single day and leftovers were served often. For example, for breakfast one morning there was fish cannelloni and broccoli, amongst other offerings. The sausages were pink inside, the only thing that was nice was the pancakes and eggs. There was very little choice. If I came back to this hotel I wouldn't pay for the all inclusive again. We ate out most nights so we didn't get the value. We couldn't face into the same food every night. Salad and fruit was very limited too and coffee (and juice) from the machine wasn't good. The shower head was full of limescale so it felt like needles but it was OK as we used the handheld shower instead. I don't like to be negative as we did enjoy our holiday and would return.

  : The location and hotel were almost perfect. Rooms very clean and comfortable. Food was good and staff were great. There are shops, restaurants, bars and car hire a few minutes walk away.
  : 2 out of the 3 lifts were out of order during our stay. The hotel is set on various levels with a lot of steps down to the beach and up to the main pool, and the lift is essential, especially if you have a pram or mobility issues. There were long queues for the lifts every day.
