  : I am extremely allergic to mold and there is black mold in the showers and the sink in the women's room. I started to get sick, as well as other people in the room, so I talked to owner of the property who worked during the day. He was nice initially, then said "if you want your refund you will have to call them and make sure that I still get my commission. I do something for you then you do something for me." I did that and got my refund, told him I was staying in Barcelona when parting ways. We accidentally left a bag of dirty clothes and called shortly after leaving, just for him to tell us he personally threw them all away without calling us or notifying us. Clothes worth 200 Euro. Cleaning lady comes in whether you are asleep or not at 11 to clean, and is extremely loud. Showers are only open for 9 hours out of the whole day "for cleaning," only one shower stays on for longer than 30 seconds, and the AC IS NOT ON. Locks for lockers are not provided, you have to pay for them. Only two toilets and one sink for 14 people. This place should not be $100 a night EVER. It is not worth it and I feel horrible for the nighttime receptionist because it was only his second week and he was dealing with so many issues. The owners only care about your money, not your stay. You cannot cook. There is no breakfast as advertised on their instagram. You cannot bring food in the room. You cannot fill your water bottle in the filtered water that is in the lounge space, you have to use the sink. You cannot have anything on the floor at all or else he will throw it away.

  : The training was centre was very close to the hostel, just across the street. There were a number of shops and restaurants nearby.
  : The timing for using the bathroom was not convenient. I always had to make a request for it to be open early for me.

  : Hi! I stayed 6 nights in the female dormitory which also has two private toilettes (shower room is outside) and a tiny terrace. The receptionist will show you around the hostel and explain the rules, you will be given a towel and then a personal locker (make sure you bring a padlock, otherwise the receptionist will lend you one but you have to pay €10 cash and it's refundable). The closest landmarks (walking distance): Arc de Triomf (9-10 mins), Plaça de Catalunya which is the main square (10 mins), La Rambla/Las Ramblas which is the famous boulevards (15 mins) and it takes 10 mins to go to Passeig de Gràcia which is the main road to go to Casa Batlló (15 mins) and La Pedrera - Casa Milà (20 mins). On your arrival, the staff member provides all information on Barcelona’s many attractions by giving you a map.Overall I had a pleasant, relaxing time at this place. I also have to emphasis that it is very clean. The staff team treated me so well and I felt homely. I would highly recommend staying here.
  : You have to bare in mind that there some rules to respect and I personally adjusted myself to them. (^_^)Kitchen, common area and shower room are closed from 11:15 to 14:00 and then from 23:30 to 08:00 so it might be inconvenient if you have different daily habits. If you sleep until late, remember to wake up before 11:15 as the staff team comes to the room to clean and do the bedding (they change the bedding every second day) or if you're not bothered for the bedding service, stay in your bed while they're cleaning. You are not allowed to cook but you can heat your food using the hobs, the small oven and the microwave. You can't fill your water bottle from the dispenser but you can drink there. You can't eat or drink inside the dorm but you can keep your bottle of a water.

  : The amount of rules, the managers are so disrespectful, they wake you up yelling to clean the space. You can’t shower whatever you want. They made a no sense schedule. Also the shower is not private and it’s small. They threat you literally like you are in the army and they’re the captain.

  : The only thing that is good in this place is the location.
  : Me and my friends had a horrible stay. We haven’t felt safe in the hostel as women, the receptionist was very creepy and also entered our (female only) dorm room several times, the receptionist was talking to me in a horrible manner and I can’t recommend for girls to come here if they wanna feel safe.

  : The location of the hostel was very good. As well as this the cleanliness of the room was amazing, the room getting cleaned everyday and bed sheets changed every 2 days well exceeded my expectations.
  : I found the main guy to be very rude and obnoxious with no manners. The timings of when you can enter the certain rooms and showers was also very strange, and when i was wanting to fill my water bottle up I got shouted at the main guy and got told no 5 minutes before the kitchen was meant to open again. Considering its a youth hostel he doesn't know how to treat youth with any respect. Having to pay 10 euros per bag to leave them there the day you check out is also a joke. There were many additional add ons when arriving to the hostel and considering people stay there on a budget that shouldnt be the case.
