  : A perfect hotel for relaxing retreat. The first word that comes to mind is tranquility. It is quiet in the rooms, around the pool and at the restaurant during dinnertime. Even the evening shows feature soothing and reserved music, rather than punchy rhythms, that are usually heard on the island. The rooms (we booked a suite with balcony) deserve the highest praise: spacious, freshly renovated, and impeccably clean. The large terraces in suits feature a table, a couple of chairs and two comfy sunbeams and overlook the serene outdoor pool. The lobby of the hotel is very stylish. The personnel is nice and attentive. We booked a stay with half-board and generally found the food selection to be of quite good quality and range. There are three things that became the highlights of our stay in the hotel: 1) the lineup for the shows: wonderful performers, with music suiting the mood of the place (we liked the Alicia Keys- inspired performance of Julia Samadhi); 2) the indoor pool - a rarity on the island - which was understandably empty during the sunny days, so we could have it for us only ; 3) the pastries served for dinner - our compliments to the pastry-chef!
  : There are few things however that need improvement. First, the non-sweet buffet was no match for the pastry. The gap needs to be filled, in particular when it comes to the prominence and presentation of the local products. Second, and the most important, the smoking is unfortunately allowed in the outdoor pool area, as well as on the terrace of the bar, where the night shows are taking place. As a result we couldnt really enjoy any of these facilities. We arens sure about the legal framework, but in other hotels on Mallorca weve seen that all public areas (incl. outdoors pools and the areas where the food/drinks can be consumed) are completely smoke-free.

  : It's a lovely hotel. The hotel is well equipped and really relaxing. Great location and good staff.
  : Its not the same quality of decor and furnishings that other 5 star hotels have been in the past, its more of a 4 star finish with 5 star amenities.

  : This is the third adults-only 'luxury' hotel we have stayed at in Malllorca in the last 3 years so I think I can make meaningful comparisons (others were Astoria Playa in Alcudia and Mar Senses in Puerto Pollensa). In my opinion this hotel is not a true 5 star for the following reasons:Bathrooms are now looking very dated...shower over bath lacked power and toiletries not replenished Old fashioned dark wooden wardrobes in the room were straight from the 1980s No room service despite this being an advertised optionNo pool service for drinks/food and no menus on tables. You had to go to pool bar and order for yourself - not 5 star service!Food was excellent on 2 nights (sushi, seafood) and average for the other 5. Food was often mislabelled (eg liver labelled as 'pork' and orange juice labelled as 'sugar free' when it clearly wasn't - I'd worry if I had allergies). Desserts looked good but often tasted artificial. Fresh fruit was not of good quality, nor was orange juice There is limited drying space on the balcony (1 small rack) and pool towels can only exchanged for 2 hours on 3 days of the week. Our balcony never got the sun so the only way we could dry our towels was to hang them over the balcony rail. The hotel pushed a letter into our door on our last day warning us that this was not allowed which left us with a poor impression of this hotel. I suggest you provide daily exchange of pool towels for guests and/or better drying space before sending such letters in futureThe entertainment was also dire. Like watching bad karaoke in an old people's home every night. Always the same...singers and backing tracks. No bands etc. Just boring.There are better hotels for the money in Mallorca. Only thing here better than other places was the staff who were all great.

  : You are warmly welcomed and the hotel is really inviting! The whole staff, from manager to receptionists to waitress and facility workers are all very friendly and helpful, you feel a positive atmosphere all over the place. The hotel is located a 2 min walk from the beach, we found it great so that you do not have any noisy disturbances. The breakfast is delicious! To specially mention the mallorquinean specialties corner, just fantastic! The hotel offers a comfortable pool with bar area!
  : The door handles in the rooms and bathrooms should be exchanged, as they clearly show worn signs of age. The plugs in the rooms do not charge the mobile phone, only when the main light is switched on. (that's a strange situation)
