  : Second night there was water dripping from the ceiling in the bathroom. We had to put towels on the floor to absorb the water drops.

  : The views are stunning and the food was delicious!
  : Fernando is super rude and offish. The reception staff made me feel terrible and ignored the whole time I was there. I booked this place as its advertised as having a sauna, pool and gym and the sauna was switched off the whole time, the gym is kept under lock and key - so its lies basically. This place has a cold and unfriendly energy and Id never stay here again.

  : Comfortable beds, lovely gardens. Booked a room with a balcony and was allocated one without, but this was rectified quickly, once we pointed this out. Attractively decorated & furnished in nice building with terrace overlooking sea. Dinner passable, breakfast nice.
  : There was absolutely no info in the room about anything. No tea/coffee making facilities & no info about room service if it existed. Even the wifi details were only available at reception. Shower holder didn't work so could only be used hand-held. Ordered drinks at bar before dinner. We were told to take a seat but they never materialised so we gave up. Dinner service first night was chaotic - very like Fawlty Towers. Asked for water which never came. Much better the second night. This hotel is not a cheap option and for the price, we expected better. Situated high up on a hill. Not all rooms have views - some overook the car park. It is a long way from Santa Cruz. We drove down to the coast (7 mins) from where it was an hour & 20mins walk into the town.

  : Beautiful building with wide open spaces and a spectacular view down the hill and out to sea. Staff were all extremely friendly, especially the hardworking restaurant/bar team who are shockingly on shift from early breakfast to late night dinner. Booked the most basic room category and it was huge, with some nice antique furniture. Pool is very nice. The parador is a 10 minute drive uphill, so you do need a car but the are nice hikes that can be reached straight out the back door. Breakfast was very good.
  : The bed is tiny despite the huge room. The pool could use more shades area, and the gym is very poor; in a basement with no windows and old machinery. The restaurant and bar are ridiculously overpriced - 6 euros for beer when everywhere else on the island is 1.5-2 euros. We had a very disappointing salad and veggie burger at the bar and a slightly less disappointing dinner, but still small portions and not particularly tasty for the price.

  : Nice hotel and room, great view out over lovely hotel gardens and the sea, room had enclosed terrace. Helpful and friendly staff
  : We would have liked more choice on the menu for vegetarians. For example, on the dinner menu the only choice for vegetarians throughout our five night stay was vegetable lasagne. That was also on the lunch menu. If there had been more choice we would not have had to go out for dinner most evenings.

  : An old-fashioned ambiance and a beautiful botanical garden and grounds. Very helpful front desk staff. Good quality food at dinner time.
  : On our second night, the restaurant was very short-staffed and there was no sign of management to deal with the situation. The two servers were run off their feet.
