  : I love a continental breakfast, especially in Germany. The Wunners Wat has a comprehensive breakfast that is set up with ample space to work quietly over a bite and stations are distributed around an open island, multiple coffee machines on a sideboard, and eggs and juices in the adjacent bar area. The hotel is in a small town but I found the locals at a nearby pizza place and a pub around the corner to be very friendly and accommodating. With a client about 15 minutes away by car, I opt for this inn when I can over going to the larger city of Bielefeld because of the slower pace, accessibility, and quiet atmosphere.
  : For budgetary reasons, I stayed in an efficiency room. I should have read the fine print and bit the bullet on a larger room. The room featured a twin size bed with decorative framing that supports the roof overhead (like a barn). This was very impactful on space. The shower is great, but I've had larger rooms in the hotel before and I'm definitely going back, but getting the bigger space. I was there for four (4) nights, so I should have given that more thought. I had no desk in this area, so essentially had to sit on my bed and use the chair as a defacto desk.
