: What tremendously helpful and friendly staff! Located deep in the Black Forest, it is a perfect entry point at 703 meters into the trails!

: Super kind people, I really felt welcome. The room was very big. Nice swimming pool. The food was good.

: The staff were extremely welcoming and friendly. Its clearly a family-run hotel, as the level of service is what one would expect from staying with family. We had a family room, which was very large and perfect for us, as there was a second floor just for the adults. There was, however, a spare double bed upstairs just in case the children couldnt settle downstairs - that was a really nice touch. The balcony was perfect for enjoying the lovely view. The evening menu was varied and delicious. After a long hike each day, the restaurant and lobby were the perfect places to unwindafter visiting the pool and saunas, of course!
: Not a dislike for us, but a warning: if you have a family room, the spiral staircase up to the adults area is narrow, so I imagine that some people might struggle. That being said, Frau Haas made it clear that beds could be rearranged and theres nothing stopping the more agile guests using the upstairs area and the less agile staying downstairs.

: The location, and the fact that they let us cancel 1 night without charge
: We did not like the stairs on the room which we were not aware of

: Love the super quiet location, this is my fourth visit and was welcomed like an old friend even though many years since my last visit. The food and wine are excellent and the Haas family are very attentive to your needs and a pleasure to visit. Good value for money for the amazing location and facilities
: The room was nicely decorated, but the bathroom was a little tired. It was a little disappointing that all facilities in the Spa were not available, but I blame COVID-19 for that, not the hotel. The room size in my review is rated good, and would have been excellent as usually bigger, but I understand this is an issue with booking via booking.com. Lesson Learned :)
