Hotel Schachtenburg

Disappointing

: The hotel is in a quiet part of Schlitz, and in a convenient location relative to our plans those days.
: Concerning the water pressure, when the handle in the shower was turned to maximum, the water fell in a straight line down, in the corner of the shower so one had to do some gymnastics to get all the body parts wet, while the room as still cold. I understand we are all saving everything we can, but for the price and the temporary stay, this was too far, considering the hotel was essentially empty. The room was ice cold when we arrived. It was clear they want to save money again, okay, but with one guest, it took hours to have a warm room and the rooms are individually heated. The mattress was so soft we were sucked down in the middle of the bed and left with back pain. The second night we tried to turn around with our heads on the other end, but the mattess contined to swallow us up, unusually uncomfortable. In this regard, two nights were enough. The staff requested that we pay the evening before instead of the next morning at checkout. Apparently because we were the only guests, this was more convenient for them, I think more consideration of what is convenient for the paying customer is more proper for a professional business, not to ask such things. We decided not to book here again and we will find another hotel in Hnfeld or Fulda.
