  : comfort of the room. the large range of foods for buffet breakfast. a neat little swimming pool. hot garage to store ski equipment. helpful and friendly staff.
  : the WiFi was ok but sometimes a little slow. I had to bring my skis and boots back from bus station or Fellhorn lift - and that seemed a long way with that burden and an uphill finale.

  : I stayed in a single room with a balcony. The room was clean and comfortable, the balcony was a perfect place to spend the evening after a long day on the mountain trails. Breakfast was amazing! Great selection of fresh baked goods and EVERYTHING you could possibly wish for. The owner was very friendly and forthcoming, ready to greet guest with some disinfectant spray for the hands and coffee when they arrived at breakfast. His wife, who did the check in/check out with me was also absolutely lovely. They took precautions and had rules in place to make the stay feel safe - thank you. Highly recommend a stay at this hotel!

  : The location was perfect for us and the view from the balcony was very nice. The welcome was good and the cleaning lady was very friendly!
  : We had a room in the annex, which in fact isnt the hotel garni Liberia at all but a different guest house called Kuhns Alpenrose. This wasnt as nice as the garni Liberia. This wasnt clear during the booking process. There werent enough parking spaces and often if we came back later than 7 pm ( and we never came back very late) then we had to park far from the hotel which was frustrating with 2 young kids. By far the worst thing for us was that it seemed that the part of the hotel we were in was a smokers area and we couldnt keep our windows open as constantly smoke came into our room from other guests balconies. This ruined our stay really.

  : - Location: very quiet, not that far from Oberstdorf center, very close to Nebelhornbahn and to the beginnings of multiple hiking trails. - The staff. They helped us a lot to sort out an uncertainty with our departure in the face of the starting DB strike.
  : - Sometimes the amount of noise from the hotel during the day/evening was quite noticeable, which is rather disappointing for such a quiet place. - 2 of 3 room windows that can be opened are very close to the ground (0.5m ) - you cannot just leave them open at night unless you are ready to deport some visiting cat at 2 AM. The third window is not much better in this regard. The kitchen windows do not have this issue. - Some of the furniture was of the sort about which one needs to take special care not to damage it. - Lack of drying facilities even of the simplest kind. When hiking in a place which gets 200 mm of rain every summer month on average, some place where one can just hang all the wet raincoats/backpack covers to dry and not worry about water dropping onto the floor would be very welcome.
