  : This hotel is in an ideal location overlooking Lake Constance and just a short walk to the buzzing town centre and the local ferries. The staff are excellent, friendly and cannot do enough for you. The breakfast was plentiful with a fantastic choice of food. The room we had on the top floor with a balcony overlooking the lake was spotless although showing signs of its age and only an average size for a hotel, I would have expected it to be a little more sumptuous for the price but it's the view your really paying for I suppose. All in all a first class hotel in Meersburg.

  : The location was fantastic, and everything was spotless. They are taking COVID-19 seriously. The welcome sekt was a nice surprise. It is right across the street from the Meersburg therme as well as the access point to the lake for swim and sunbathing. Dinner at Casala was delicious although quite pricey. Definitely a very special occasion type place.

  : The staff were great, and very willing to help -- when I went down to the restaurant to get a snack, one of the staff happily carried the tray up to my room. And when I had anxiety about parking in the narrow space (quite normal for Germany), the front desk staff came out and helped & encouraged me.
  : The close-up mirror in the bathroom is installed so high that only people over 5 ft 7 can use it. I've seen this before at Romantik hotels, and wonder if there is a policy for all properties about it. There are only a few outlets in the room, which is inadequate for today, when most travellers use 2 or more devices. I had to unplug a lamp to power my devices. A USB power strip would be useful. The balcony was tiny and angled badly so that the room got little sun. The hotel information booklet in the room said there was room service, but I was informed there was none.

  : we needed a bed for two, not two single beds pushed together, which is what premium apparently means here.
  : uncomfortable bed. very loud restaurant noises kept us awake.

  : Breakfast was exceptional as was the restaurant for lunch and evening. Staff of entire property was very pleasant and helpful.
  : It was very hot while we were there. The only way to cool the room was to leave patio door open. This caused our room and bathroom to be over run with small flying insects. Room needs some screens and alternate ventilation.
