  : The location was ok. Sorry, that is all I can come up with that's positive.
  : I tried to contact the hotel ahead of booking to find out if there was parking available, but the management company was unable to tell me and also unable to give me the direct number for the hotel. The person I spoke to was rude and unhelpful. The room was tiny and cramped, and not very clean. The salami at breakfast was mouldy (!). Staff at the hotel were unhelpful. We were told in retrospect that we could've had a cheaper rate due to the reason of our stay (someone being operated on in hospital, a very distressing time), but then nothing was done about it (how should we have known that in advance if it isn't advertised?), despite the fact that we had to leave a day earlier than planned due to changes in the operating schedule - the full cost was retained by the hotel. Not going back there, or anywhere else from that company!

  : The staff for Hotel Astor, especially Sophie, did an amazing job and went beyond to find us a room to stay in very late in the day with the entire city booked out.
  : We booked 4 nights and did not stay there a single night. We booked a room for 2 adults and one 10 year old child and upon arrival, as well as the entire duration of the stay, they did not have a room for us. We were moved around 2 out of 4 nights, and one night we even received a room for only 2 and my son stayed at friends' place. They refused a full refund, I'm still waiting for a partial refund. No apology, no direct communication. Everything had to be done via booking.com. Horrendous experience.
