  : We had a late check-in and were unsure about how we were going to be able to get into the hotel. As we passed by the B17 Bar & Restaurant a young man & lady approached us and asked us if we were staying at The Alfa. They explained how to enter the building and said to come back to them if we had any problems. we struggled to use the code to unlock the door, but the young man went out of his way to let us into the building (think we would've been on the street all night had he not helped us out!) The Alfa is situated in an excellent location, surrounded by lively bars and restaurants, catering to all age groups & tastes. The hotel rooms are large, very clean, comfortable, and with good soundproofing windows! We all said we would certainly visit again.

  : I was shocked to learn that the room came without air conditioning unless one accepts an oscillating fan a form of air conditioning. So you keep the window open for cross ventilation but then the noise from late night revellers keep you awake until the early hours. I was unable to access the tricky hotspot wifi system and reception wasnt able to help.
