  : Nice views. Proximity to the Open Air Museum.
  : Access was up a steep,narrow, badly surfaced single track road off a fairly busy road., which made access difficult.There was significant dust on my wifes bedside table when we arrived. Breakfast was poor in comparison with every other hotel we stayed at during the holiday - limited choice etc.

  : The location is not central but the parking lot makes the hotel very attractive (you need a car if you are staying there). The landscape is awesome. Room was clean and breakfast as well ok.

  : Charming hotel in a beautiful location, spacious and comfortable rooms with a rustic style. I suppose it would have been fantastic to have been able to explore some facilities beyond the room.
  : To experience adventures, I rented a cabin in the middle of the forest. Certainly, it's not what I expect when booking a hotel in a German city to attend a business meeting the next day. You expect certain minimum standards, which in my case were not met. We arrived directly from the airport at 20:50. The hotel was closed, without any lights to guide us. At -1C, in a blizzard and snow, we had to illuminate a sign (only in German) to call a phone number that directed us to our rooms. We had to drag our suitcases through the snow outside the hotel in complete darkness with the strong sleet of snow. As there was no service at the hotel, we had to go to the center of Hagen to have dinner (we hadn't eaten since 12:30 at Barcelona airport). And, oh surprise! When we returned to the hotel, the car was slipping on the access road to the hotel with a steep slope due to the accumulated snow. The first time we went up without a problem, but this second time my children had to get out to push the car to avoid leaving it stuck halfway up. The next day, it was even more snowy, and I was worried about slipping with the car. I asked the only person at the hotel, a woman who spoke zero English, and she indicated that there was nothing she could do, that it was what it was. There we were, abandoned to our fate in a semi-closed hotel. I decided to risk going down, fortunately, everything went well. In conclusion, very little professionalism and very disappointed with the level of service.
