  : the setting of this hotel is quite unique set on the river just a 10 minute walk into town unlike conventional hotels this was a lovely chilled out experience i had a fantastic sleep was so peaceful

  : Check in is a little confusing especially if you can't speak German because the boat is not staffed. The ceiling of the boat is low but its a boat so can't expect too much...

  : Location and equipment is perfect.
  : Welcome instructions, including how to find the key, should be more specifically described in English. When arriving, one should already know there is no parking space in the neighbourhood and that the key is hidden in a safe hidden in a board on the side... My only contact was a woman who spoke only German. Until another man took over, but the woman was still speaking together with him... so it took me quite a while before I understood their instructions. And then again another while before I got the code right. It was pouring icy rain and my suitcase was soaked. Why not sending all that information into SMS? and in english for foreigners...

  : The beds were amazingly comfortable and soft drinks were left in the fridge for free which was a nice touch (beers were also on there at 2 each). Stayed with my 8 year old son who absolutely loved the novelty of staying on a boat overnight.
  : It took a while to get hold of anyone via the phone to get the key from the safe (would have been easier for the staff to email me the safe code before arrival) there was also a slight tilt which made the deck uneven

  : I liked the preis, location and the fact that is was different kind of hotel. The non-alcoholic drinks were for free.
  : When the water is wild - after heavy rain - the boot connected with a rope shows a kind of shocks. During the day no problem but the third night is was heavy and each time I woke up.

  : Location was nice and there was a small nest of ducks right behind the ship that provided an opportunity to wash one's eyes.Probably good if you like SPIDERS a lot.
  : Other reviews have mentioned bad stuff - the smell of sewage in the sitting room, the tilt in the ship. We would have gone past those since it's a ship after all and there was a novelty factor to it. The furniture is a bit old and not really suited to this century on a ship - you want something easy to clean without too many nooks and crannies. Maybe lose the drapes as well. Because, the place was full, and I mean FULL of SPIDERS. We killed about 8 in the first sweep of the place. Figured we got most of them, old place and all, possibly not very rented out. We went out for dinner, returned, and then decided to do another sweep for spiders before bed. 4 spiders had appeared in the bedroom, about 3 in the sitting room and at least one in the bathroom.I don't think the place is being kept very clean for a spider infestation of this magnitude to occur, and I'd wager that they just do some superficial vacuuming and tidying up between guests.Either that or the ship is owned by spiders since you don't actually *see* any human being in the process of checking out/in.

  : No heating except for awkward oil and fan heaters that really got in the way. It is ok a full hour to get the rooms even remotely comfortable. I would have expected for this price a small kettle with the ability to make tea and coffee but all we found was stale bread and the drinks you had to buy. That was a disappointment
