  : I liked the way the hotel works. EVerything was simple. Actually the main point here is the park next to the hotel was awesome. You actually stay real center of the Berlin.

  : the room was clean and there was a coffee-maker, which is always nice. the location is not perfect, but not too bad either.
  : the location is neither beautiful, nor particularly convenient. exactly as some other travellers described it, the windows are to the inner yard of the house which is noisy in the morning due to people talking very loudly. Closing windows helps, but not much. But the worst is how the staff managed things. As I arrived, the receptionist told me that they did not have my booking, but a booking for some different person (different last name). considering that it was their last room, to me it sounded like there was a double booking, and I'll have to look for another room. When the landlady came over it turned out that they had my booking, just the payment confirmation got delayed (or something like that). But it was good 15 min of stress, which I did not really need. Neither of the two bothered to apologise.

  : What you see on the photo's is what you get. Lot's of nice restaurants / bars in the same street.
  : It was a bit warm in the room (we stayed there in june) and it was a bit noisy around 8.30

  : Good location. Room was basic, but clean, comfortable and safe, which was what we were looking for.
  : The wi-fi was terrible! The free access was only available for a couple of hours each day, but it turned out that those hours were counted from the first moment you logged on and continued to be counted from that point onwards so that if you logged on even for only a few minutes in the morning and then logged off when you went out for the day, you couldn't log on again for free in the same 24 hour period, because you got a message saying that you had exceeded your free allowance, although you had only actually been online for a few minutes! Very frustrating and completely useless! We only realised after a day or so, when we learned to take it in turns to access the wi-fi so that one of us would be able to use it in the morning and the other one in the evening.

  : Compact but we had everything we needed. Very quiet so we slept well. The choice of restaurants, and the public transport options were very good.
  : Need to keep on top of the maintenance (eg 2 lightbulbs in the bathroom werent working).
